HOW TO VOTE: There are two ways to vote and both involve using Twitter. So before you start make sure you are signed into Twitter.

Option 1: Using Twitter, send a Tweet to @ and make sure include one of the hashtags mentioned above in the Tweet. You can put anything in the Tweet you want but make sure to have both @ and one of the above mentioned hashtags.

Option 2: Click on the "VOTE" button listed above for who you want to win and a small window will open up with a pre-determined Tweet. Click on the "Tweet" button and the Tweet will be sent and your vote will be submitted.

HEATHER O’REILLY (BOS) – Was key in Boston’s win over Western New York this weekend notching two goals including the match winner in the 83rd minute.

LAUREN CHENEY (FCKC) – Recorded two assists in FC Kansas City’s win against the Seattle Reign FC.

LISA DE VANNA (SBFC) – Setup Sophie Schmidt for the match winning goal in the 48th minute.

DIANA MATHESON (WSH) – Scored a goal late in the first half after beating her defender to a well placed pass by Lori Lindsey.

ALEX MORGAN (POR) – Recorded an assist on a Christine Sinclair goal late in the match and finished with 4 shots on goal.

ERIN MCLEOD (CHI) – Although her team got the loss, McLeod was a beat in the net saving 7 shots on goal including a rocket from Alex Morgan.

KEELIN WINTERS (SEA) – Had 2 shots on goal during a rainy match in Kansas City. Played midfield for the Reign FC but no matter where you looked on Friday Winters was in the mix.

SAMANTHA KERR (WNY) – Scored just 7 minutes into her team’s match against the Boston Breakers, tying her for the league lead in goals scored.

    The fact that Alex is winning is why fan votes can never be taken seriously. She played well but HAO had a brace for crying out loud.

    The fact that this isn’t between HAO and Cheney sickens me. The voting procedure has to be changed. A player from all 8 teams shouldn’t be an option. Pick only the top 3 or 4 from each week. I don’t even think Alex was the best player for the Thorns in their game against Chicago.
