BRITTANY CAMERON (SBFC) – Cameron recorded her second shutout of the season on Saturday versus the Seattle Reign FC.

LORI LINDSEY (WSH) – Lindsey scored the match-tying goal in the 51st minute but what you won’t see in the box score is the role she played on the field without the ball.

ALEX MORGAN (POR) – Morgan recorded seven shots (five on goal) and the match-winning goal as the Thorns defeated the Chicago Red Stars on Sunday.

ABBY WAMBACH (WNY) – Wambach is the main reason FC Kansas City is leaving New York with their first loss of the season. Not only did she score two goals that seemed to deflate the FCKC backline but she was also very active on the defensive side of the ball. Last week FCKC’s defender Becky Sauerbrunn made an 80-yard run to help setup a goal and this week Wambach made a very similar run, but not to setup a goal, rather to save FCKC from scoring a goal.
