Today (March 18th) marked the day that NWSL teams had to make cuts to their roster to bring them down to the league mandated 25 player preseason roster. Here’s what we know so far:
The Chicago Red Stars cut open-tryout player Natalia Daniels.
The Western New York Flash cut Erica Henderson, Tiffany Hurst, Jackie Logue and Carson Michalowski. They also added defender Katherine Reynolds who previously played for the Seattle Sounders Women, Philadelphia Independence and the Atlanta Beat. She was also part of the US U-23 team.
We will continue to update this post as we get more roster news. If you hear anything please let us know!
The next (and final) set of cuts is scheduled for April 5th when the teams need to get their rosters down to at least the 20-player limit (some teams will be allowed 21 players).
