FC Kansas City – Amy Rodriguez
Once again, Rodriguez played a big part in the 2-1 win over Washington Spirit.  She scored both of the goals for FC Kansas City that paved the way to victory.

Western New York Flash – Abby Wambach
Wambach scored her first goals of the 2014 season on Sunday when she recorded a second-half brace to lead the Flash to a 2-0 win over Sky Blue FC and help propel the team into second place in the NWSL standings. The Rochester native connected in front of her hometown crowd in the 49th minute off a set piece from Vicky Losada and later scored late into stoppage time, finishing a long punt from Kelsey Wys.

Western New York Flash – Kelsey Wys
Wys, the Flash’s second round pick in this year’s NWSL Collegiate Draft, got her first professional start of her career this past weekend against Sky Blue FC. Wys not only earned a shutout but also assisted on Wambach’s second goal of the match. (see video here)
