Today the Boston Breakers announced the signing of Australian National Team striker Kyah Simon. Simon was the Breakers leading scorer in the WPSL-Elite last season finding the back of the net 12 times in 13 matches.
“I’m excited about having Kyah back and for her to get the opportunity to play against the best in the world,” Boston Breakers Head Coach Lisa Cole said. “She’s shown that she’s one of the best forwards in the world.”

Simon made her Australian National Team debut at the age of 16 in a match against Hong Kong. She was also a member of the 2011 Australian World Cup team and scored the only two goals in Austrialia’s match against Norway that sent the team into the quarterfinals.
