The Seattle Reign FC and the USWNT got some good and bad news today as US Soccer announced that Hope Solo’s surgery on her left wrist was a success however she would be out of action for up to four months.

Solo is the second NWSL and USWNT goalie to enter the inaugural season on the injured list. Earlier this week US Soccer announced Sky Blue FC’s Jill Loyden will be out for at least three months with a broken hand.
