This weekend FC Kansas City held their first open tryouts and 65 players braved the snow and cold weather to earn an invite to the team’s Invitational Combine in March.

“It was a great two days of work and we had players from all over the country come in,” said Head Coach Vlatko Andonovski. “We were pleasantly surprised at how much talent showed up.  I look forward to seeing some of them come back for our (Invitational) Combine in a few weeks.”

The coaching staff narrowed the 65 players down to nine that will be invited to the March 2nd-3rd Invitational Combine. The nine players will be part of a group of 20-25 players competing for a slot on the Blues roster and practice team.

Here is some background information the nine players. Note that limited information on each of the players was released by the team so we conducted our own research. There is a slight chance we mention the background for a player with the same name and if that is the case, please forgive us.
