FC Kansas City held a press conference yesterday to unveil the team’s kits for the upcoming season and officially introduce the team. FC Kansas City also announced a three-year agreement with TITLE Boxing Club as the team’s jersey sponsor.

“We hoped to find a company, partner that was local and that also had a national footprint,” said Scott Levinson, VP of Operations at FC Kansas City. “What turned out to be the first and only company we talked to was TITLE Boxing Club … TITLE Boxing Clubs high energy, high impact workouts are a perfect match for the intensity that these ladies plan on bringing to the soccer field all season long.”

TITLE Boxing Club was founded in Overland Park, Kansas and has locations in 27 states, including five of the eight NWSL states.

“When we heard that Kansas City was getting a professional women’s soccer team, we knew that we wanted to be involved,” said Tom Lyons, one of TITLE Boxing Club’s founders. “FC Kansas City fans and soccer fans in general lead an active lifestyle and are a perfect match for our fitness clubs. We strive to empower women and change lives like the National Women’s Soccer League is doing for these athletes.”

Lyons also announced that FC Kansas City players will have free membership to the TITLE Boxing Club.

Melissa Henderson, Kristie Mewis and Lauren Sesselmann modeled three different kit combinations which included a full blue kit, full black kit and full white kit. The NWSL gave teams a choice between two Nike kit templates and FC Kansas City went with the Hertha kit with the TITLE Boxing Club logo place prominently in the middle.

FC Kansas City plans to sell the jerseys at all of their home matches and on their website. No on sale date has been set.
