The Chicago Red Stars announced the signing of Lori Chalupny, Taryn Hemmings and Ella Masar, who will join previously announced Leslie Osborne in the Red Stars free agent class. The Red Stars will be naming their fifth free agent signing in the near future.
Chalupny, a Missouri native, graduated from the University of North Carolina in 2009 before being allocated to the Saint Louis Athletica (WPS). When the Athletica folded she signed with the Atlanta Beat (WPS) and was named captain. After the WPS announced they would be ceasing operations Chalupny signed with the Chicago Red Stars (WPSL Elite) and played for them for one season before heading off to AIK Fotboll Dam in Sweden.
So happy to announce that I will be returning to the Windy City this summer to play for @chicagoredstars!!

Masar then moved on to Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), a professional women’s club based in Paris, France, and made a total of 17 appearances and found the back of the net six times. In 2012 she rejoined the Chicago Red Stars (WPSL Elite).
