Julie King was a starting defender for the Auburn Tigers from 2008 – 2011. During her collegiate career she competed in 89 matches and tallied 13 goals and 10 assists. She was also named co-captain and her team appeared in four consecutive NCAA tournaments.
“Julie is obviously an exceptional athlete,” Boston Breakers Head Coach Lisa Cole said. “She works hard. She’s good in the air. She has great leadership in the back. And she did a good job for us last year with the Breakers,”
Per club and league policy, terms of the King’s contract was not disclosed.
