The Boston Breakers announced today, just days before their home opener vs. Washington Spirit, that all eleven of their home matches this season will be broadcast live (and not geo-blocked) through MediaBoss Television.

MediaBoss Television, based in Farmington, Massachusetts, stated in a press release today that each of the eleven home matches this year will be broadcast in High-Definition, multi-camera excitement similar to that of most professional sports leagues. With the touch of your finger Mediaboss TV will provide access to play-by-play game day action anywhere in the world.

“Watching Boston Breakers live streamed games will be like watching a soccer game on ESPN,” Breakers General Manager Lee Billiard said.  “The HD stream is great. There are game animations, action replays, and we have the ability for play-by-play commentators along with a field side reporter keeping you informed as it happens.”

The Breakers commentating team will consist of Scott Sudikoff, Madeline Sattler and Alexandra Sims. Sudikoff was a part-time public-address announcer for the Breakers last season and is a sports flash anchor on 93.7 WEEI-FM in Boston. Stattler is currently a student at Northwestern University and has been featured in sports packages for Northeastern TV and also interns at Cox Sports in Rhode Island. Sim currently works in production at WHDH-TV (Channel 7), the Boston NBC affiliate.

Matches will cost $4.99 each, as well as any applicable service fees and will be broadcast live via the Boston Breakers live stream page on their website.  Heavy traffic is to be expected on game days so watchers are advised to view the games through the Boston Breakers Facebook page. The Breakers will also be posting the match videos in their entirety on their YouTube page 3-4 days after they air live.
